(off topic )

I’ve got to admit that I’m a sucker when it comes to great music. And I’m a keen bingo player. That’s why when I first heard about Bingo Therapy; I was not only pleasantly surprised, I was impressed beyond compare. This band is surprisingly good and I mean that in the most endearing of ways. Several years ago, back in 2008, I was lucky enough to be at the White Eagle Tavern. The date as I fondly recall was January the 5th, 2008. That’s when these hardcore rockers-cum-country and blues singers made their way onto the stage and tore the place up. It was a lyrical feast that was enhanced by the fantastic gaming atmosphere in the bar at the time. This band is always ready to rock and rumble. They’re willing and able to play anywhere at anytime – just like the top tier groups should. These guys put their heart and soul into their music and that won me over from the get go.

Where do you find out more about Bingo Therapy?

If you’ve heard their music, then you’re no doubt already a fan and you’ll want to learn as much as possible about them. Take a peek at Bingo Therapy on YouTube or perhaps sneak a peek at their website – it’s not much, but their music speaks volumes about the quality of their work. Their slogan is what got me – ‘Sounds like Heaven, Hotter than Hell!’ Imagine that – a band not scared to invite your comment and listen to everything they recorded. They’re unique, exciting and daring – the way purist rock bands ought to be. They’ve deemed their website a virtual audition – a sacred place where you and I can jam out with their beats. And the upside to this exciting tale is that you can even schedule a booking for Bingo Therapy to come to your neck of the woods. Such is the level of enthusiasm and interaction they project that their fans are invited for a live audition at their studio. Where pray tell is their studio I hear you asking? Well, it’s online of course the mighty www domain that is their sanctum. Their music streams 24/7 and that’s a real bonus for players the world over. For me, their music truly is about togetherness, family and fun – it’s electric and it’s powerful.

First of all I’d like to warmly welcome everyone to bingoTherapy.net – your one-stop bingo help shop. It’s great to have you join me as we chart new territory together in our efforts to simplify and correct all bingo-related anomalies and questions. I’m really glad to inform you that bingo numbers have been on the up and up since the Internet bingo boom in the 1990s. As the numbers suggest, online bingo is set to boom in coming months and that’s really a positive development for all of us. Rumour has it that the US market may be easing restrictions on online gaming too – let’s hold thumbs – it’s still up for discussion. Regarding the growth of bingo, it’s important to understand that while it’s a fun game to play, it is a game that you can wager on. In this vein it’s imperative to take heed when allotting a bankroll to your gaming exploits. The best advice I can offer in three easy steps is this:

Carefully select your online bingo room based on credibility, licensing, payouts and gaming variety.

Carefully allocate an amount that you intend to wager. It must be an amount that you can afford to lose.

Carefully select the bingo games or casino side games that you’re going to play and always play in free-play mode first before you register.

But once you’re gaming and enjoying the bingo action, you may find that you’re having so much fun that you’re neglecting certain other facets of your life including your friends, family, pets, work, and gym or even feeding the pigeons outside your window. I’m serious – I got so involved in the gaming that I lost track of time and sometimes missed my meals. So of course you should enjoy the game – but remember to come back to visit us all in the real worldJ (from time to time). Regarding the games themselves, the best advice is always the simplest advice: start off buying a couple of bingo cards at low cost. See how it all pans out. If you find that your purchase is paying dividends over time or alternatively that you’re really enjoying the games and the community atmosphere that bingo engenders, then you’re okay. You can always up the stakes if and when you feel ready. My final point for this post (more to follow in coming blog posts) relates to the community gaming and chat functionality. Remember folks that sometimes fellow players may act out or slip up. That’s why there’s a chat moderator to keep us all happy and gaming with joy. Join me next time as we continue our exciting chats on all things bingo related.

One of the most interesting questions folks continue to ask me today is the following: “How can I become a better bingo player?” This question, on the surface at least, seems silly. I mean if bingo is a game of chance with an uncertain outcome, then how is it possible for anyone other than a deity to better control uncertain outcomes? Luckily there are many ways to dramatically enhance your chances while you’re playing this game. And believe it or not, some of the best ways of minimizing losses are through stricter control mechanisms. Without further ado, let’s get right into it.

The do’s and don’ts of bingo gaming

Before you dive into 75-ball bingo, 80-ball bingo or 90-ball bingo – play free bingo games and learn the ropes before you wager real money.

Read a couple of relevant online bingo tutorials if you’re unsure how the game works. Be sure to select the bingo game that’s right for you.

Carefully research which online bingo room you’re going to go with. Select only reputable operators (licensed, registered and audited).

Your patronage is valuable. Make sure to shop around and get the best sign-up bonus offers. But remember: read the wagering requirements all the time.

Bingo rooms offering exciting promotional deals are the way to go. Prizes such as concert tickets, island cruises and cars abound with the big bingo rooms.

Remember that you’re not alone in online bingo gaming and the more folks that are playing the bigger the jackpot prize pool will be. This goes both ways: more folks = more competition and less likelihood of winning. So play bingo at odd hours – when fewer players will be online.

Play multiple bingo cards and increase your chances of winning more games. But always do basic quantitative analysis because the benefits should always outweigh the costs.

Be sure to make use of the online bingo blogs, the community forums and the exciting chat functionality on bingo sites. These will not only immerse you in the fun-filled gaming atmosphere, they will enhance your overall gaming experience.

Make use of pre-buy bingo cards if you’ve got to run off on an errand – that way you’re in the game, even when you’re away.

Gambling is gambling – so only wager what you are prepared to lose – even on bingo.

There is hundreds of bingo and bingo related games on the internet, available 24×7. What you will require is a updated computer with a modem (a device used to connect your computer with internet), Internet access and a web- browsing software program.

Equipments

Knowing the essentials is the key to opening the excitement of the game.

The Cards- Players purchase cardboard cards or disposable sheets printed with one or more card faces. The type of game cards used varies generally depends on the hall. Still some halls use traditional cardboard ‘all-night boards’, or ‘hard cards’, which can be marked with chips, pennies, or tokens. But, today most of the halls use disposable sheets or strips of paper cards containing a set of number of faces like three (known as a 3-on) or six (known as a 6-on).

The process of buying cards is called the “buy-in” or in other words, you pay money straight to buy cards to be used in the specific session. Sometimes the buy-ins fir single-face, stand-alone cards, but, more often, the buy-ins for tear-off, disposable sheets having a number of card faces. Expect to pay anywhere from $1 to $20 for a smallest buy-ins.

Some of the popular calls are

Legs Eleven for 11

Sweet sixteen for 16

Two little ducks (quack, quack) for 22

The Caller

Person known as the “caller” select the numbers from a blower or basket and declares then to the players. It is also the caller’s duty to announce the pattern of the game before calling. There are literally thousands of patterns from which to select and the pattern call changes in every game. There are two common patterns straight-line and coverall.

Straight-line pattern- In this simplest version, a player gets ‘bingo’ with a 5 number straight line. The line can be horizontal, vertical or diagonal. The straight line may include the free space, wherein case the player would only require having four numbers to call.

Coverall - it also called blackout, coverall is a classic jackpot game. The aim is to cover every number on the card inside a certain number of calls. In 39-number coverall, a coverall should occur within 39 calls, otherwise the game is over and on one wins.
